hela Sverige Ubisoft Massive is looking for a person with working knowledge of SCM to take responsibility for our source control database. You will be part of our IT team to support the game development process.
We have currently five ongoing projects, whereof one full scale MMO and one FPS, we need you to collaborate with all game teams and act as a central hub in code management. Are you up for it?
Responsibilities:
You will maintain and administrate our source control database
You will assist the game teams in creating code branches
You are responsible for the integrity and stability of the database
You as a candidate:
You are thorough and quality oriented in all your tasks. You are alert to any problems that arise, big or small, and strive to solve them as securely as possible. You take great pride in uptime and reliability in your service and you are the driving force in any project relating to the source control system. You have good social skills and you are service minded in your interaction with members of both your own team and other teams. If this describes you then you just might be the one we are looking for.
Required Skills:
• Excellent scripting skills (Python, Perl or similar)
• Experience working in standard commercial software products used for configuration management (e.g., Perforce, ClearCase, Subversion, Razor, TeamWare, etc.)
• Experience with large data depots
Additional Skills:
• Experience and knowledge of setting up source control database backups
• Perforce server administration experience
• Development IDE integration
• Experienced with using the Perforce API
• Programming experience C#, C++
