Digital Service & Solutions (DSS) makes the products of Husqvarna Group more competitive through customer-oriented applications and data driven services.

The department in which you will be a member consists of 50 creative colleagues, all specialized within their fields; development, Big Data, and cloud. DSS is designed for rapid deployment of digital services with the purpose to empower Husqvarna Group's customer experience. The department both develops and delivers standard back-bone solutions and digital services, as well as design and release services to the end customers.
There is a big focus on team activities and the cooperation with other divisions within Husqvarna are important to create visions and ideas.
The team works according to DevOps and Agile methods and is defined by a prestigeless and creative international culture.
Location is in Huskvarna, Sweden.
We are now looking for an experienced Data scientist.
You will join a DevOps team with the responsibility for Big Data and advanced analytics processes at Husqvarna Group. The team maintains a data lake, creates automated data pipelines, and develops data driven services. We strive to work in a mixed team consisting of data engineers, data scientists and business experts in order to have the toolsets to drive processes from ideation to realization.
Your responsibility will be to provide analytics expertise to the team and to develop new data driven services. You will also be and ambassador within the Husqvarna organization, sharing your experience in advanced analytics to guide Husqvarna into becoming a more data driven organization. We are also having close cooperation with partners and universities to stay in the front line.
We believe that you have several years of experience from data science and business analytics within a data driven organization. You are a good team player and have deep knowledge in statistics and developing analytical services.
It's good if you feel comfortable with the following tools or methods:
• Cloud, preferably AWS
• Jupyter/iPython Notebook
• PowerBI
• Python and/or R
• Apache Spark and AWS EMR
• Data scientist methods
• Machine learning and statistical methods
