Job Description
DU Networks, DNEW, is responsible for the Radio Design that fulfills the assignments received by the PA Networks within the budget frames from Business Control. DU Networks Products is also responsible for the Radio Design fulfilling CU sponsored assignments. DU Networks Products shall always demonstrate leading radio business opportunities and secure technological evolution.

Within DSI, Development Services and Infrastructure, we are in the phase of creating a service-minded organization capable of providing a world class development and test environment that is flow optimized, infusing a change that drives us to be able to simplify and reduce the vast variety of existing development and test environments including tools.

To be able to increase competitiveness, we need to dramatically improve the flow for the product development by having an on-demand development and test environment.

We need to achieve an "easy to use" aligned service that inspire us, not hinder us. We need a completely new look in this area to remove bottlenecks and get to a quality inspired way of working that increases our speed

One stop shop for all things that makes the Development flow work, i.e. full service stack for Service provided that includes SAN services
System Management, SM, within DSI and particularly Production Product Architecture section has the responsibility to define Production Product Architecture, responsibility for overall Systemization of Production Product, definition and systemization of Production Product services.

Job Summary
Our aim is to have an efficient Production Product based on modern tools all the way from SW commit to deployment at the customer.

Production Product Architecture section within DSI System Management is now looking for a Production Product System Architect. You will be part of a group which has system responsibility for the Production Product within DNEW with focus on the continuous integration, test and continuous delivery areas. You will actively contribute to the evolution of the Production System roadmap, which will be guidance to the overall backlog for ESP Production program. By doing so you will closely and actively cooperate with system level architects regarding their requirements. Understanding the struggles together with knowledge of technology changes inside and outside the company will help you to formulate evolution steps. We are looking for a System Architect with an interest in different areas able to work parallel in more than one area and actively seek for alignments, understanding of broader consequences and systematic ways of working. This includes also introduction of new technologies. You will have a continuous dialogue with users as well as developers to understand their requirements but also help development and users to see future needs and solutions. You might be involved in prototyping activities as well.

You are analytical, structural, cooperative and result oriented with good communication skills. You will find creative solutions when lacking information and act outside your formal area of responsibility when needed.

Responsibilities & Tasks
Actively contribute to the technical evolution of Production Product. You will review proposed solutions against architectural principles and strategies. You will be actively involved in architecturally significant changes, e.g. in the introduction of new services.
Closely and actively cooperate with other Production Product architects and Production Product and System guardians.
Actively contribute to governance of the Production Product architecture for system level documentation, e.g. overview information, architectural principles and guidelines.
Closely and actively cooperate with all other DSI sections as well as with all DNEW PDUs.
Actively seek understanding of the problems of system users
Contribute to knowledge sharing in respective areas
Be patient and show perseverance


Qualifications & Education Requirements:
M.Sc or relevant education on similar level
Understanding of product development
Understanding of CI architectures and how CI strategies can be used to optimize flow and quality
A quality attitude, ability for critical thinking and a drive to always improve
Follow & understand industry trends in the area
Strong sense of urgency
Strong knowledge of R&D processes, including lean & agile practices
Excellent skills in communication and in handling relations
Business and costumer focused with a high accountability to deliver results
Large degree of flexibility and willingness to take on different tasks
Proven ability to negotiate and collaborate to reach solutions in a multi stakeholder environment


Job Location:
Sweden, Kista, Linköping, Budapest, Hungary operationally interfacing units in all relevant DNEW sites
