IMMUNODIAGNOSTICS DIVISION
Thermo Fisher Scientific's ImmunoDiagnostics Division (IDD) develops, manufactures, and markets complete blood test systems to support the clinical diagnosis and follow-up of allergy and autoimmune diseases. This part of the business covers an exciting and fast-growing geography, operating through both a direct and in-direct business model. The in-direct business model is an important contributor to our success and operates through a network of more than ten Distributor partners across 50 countries.
Each year for the last three consecutive years the Distributor business has contributed double digit sales growth for the International region.
WHAT WILL I DO?
The ImmunoDiagnostics International Distributor Manager is responsible for managing a network of Distributors to ensure commercial success. Your primary objective is to manage daily operations, communications and activities with the Distributors and Internal Stakeholders to ensure we achieve business growth objectives in accordance with our annual operating plan.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with Distributors while working cross-functionally within the IDD International leadership team and relevant departments at our Centre of Excellence functions in Sweden and Germany to ensure the business is managed effectively.
Main point-of-contact between Distributors and Internal Stakeholders to resolve operational issues and to communicate effectively between external partners and internal business functions.
Track, monitor and act in a timely manner to ensure sales are performing according to plan.
Liaise with Finance and Accounting to resolve any issues associated with Distributor invoices, including internal approval process for authorization.
Co-ordinate with Internal Stakeholders to provide relevant information and documentation to support Distributor operations.
Ensure Distributors remain business compliant according to all Thermo Fisher Scientific policies and commercial agreements and adhere to industry best practice.
HOW WILL I GET THERE?
We are looking for a motivated and proactive individual, who has the ability to manage our Distribution Partners and internal stakeholders and take our business growth to the next level.
To succeed in this role, you should be someone who:
Has a good understanding of the International IVD environment, especially from a sales and operational perspective and who has distributor management, sales or commercial operations experience
Can build strong relationships with Distributors and Internal Stakeholders, from diverse backgrounds and a range of countries, cultures, languages and time zones.
Has excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in English and Swedish
Collaborates well across teams in a fast-paced global environment, managing multiple complex tasks.
Works proactively with a can-do attitude and an ability to prioritize, act decisively and meet deadlines
Has a relevant university degree
Is prepared to travel for work (approximately 10%)
