At Electrolux Major Appliances EMEA we are looking for an operational project manager with experience in consumer journey and communication related projects. The right person is data and insight driven and passionate about delivering consumer centric experiences. This is a great opportunity to be part of the digital transformation journey where we take the consumer ownership support experience to the next level. The project is for a period of 6 (Nov 2019 - April 2020) months and you will be reporting to the ownership marketing director.

Electrolux is building the capabilities and strategy to deliver a best in class ownership experience. One of the key areas we need to improve and future proof is the product support experience. We are moving away from an analog one fits all solution (printed user manual) to a tailor made digital execution. This transformation journey involves changing the entire end to end process in how we develop, write and execute the product support experience. The project is split in two phases, the directional part and the implementation.

As the discovery project lead you will be responsible for delivering the directional phase of the overall project. It's about setting the scope, what the transformation should succeed with, the end-goal. The role is very hands on and operational and requires great project management and people skills, and ability to digest and analyze data and information. You will be supported by different parts of the organization but a lot of the work will be around interviewing and structure information.

Discovery phase - Key Deliverables

• Set the vision.
• Translate the vision into a design of the product support experience that will be enabled once the project has been implemented. The consumer centric design is the basis for the execution. We will structure our operating model, tech landscape and people transformation processes around delivering this design. The consumer needs and behaviors and our product innovation pipeline and future business models should be the cornerstones upon which we base the new design.
• The product support and channel strategy framework. To guide the execution of the design. This is a sub project which is already work in progress. This project needs to be absorbed in the overall program.
• The high level business case.

In order to deliver the above your key areas of responsibility will be to:

• Set the Discovery scope and project plan and manage the execution
• Scope the discovery phase in terms of what needs to be considered in order to deliver the vision, design, strategy framework and the high level business case.
• Identify key stakeholders.
• Identify risks to be further explored
• Plan the how

• Deep dive into Consumer needs and behaviors.
• Deep dive into product innovation pipeline and future business models.
• Create an understanding of the work that has already been done in this area. Lessons learned. What part of the ownership support experience has already been explored/tested etc.Who you are:

• Analytical. You use data to inform your decision making and strategic thinking, with a keen eye on details.
It's a plus if you are skilled in running Google design sprint and have experience in change management.

Minimum requirements
• University Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent
• At least 5+ years of project management preferably within communication.
• Excellent English in spoken and written; knowledge of any additional European language is a plus
