hela Sverige Are you an Instrument Engineer and looking for a new opportunity? We are now looking for a senior Instrument engineer who will take the position as Discipline Lead Instrument for the engineering department at Nynas
Your future role
As the Discipline Lead Instrument, you will have an important position and you will be responsible for technical solutions, quality and resource management for all Instrument Engineering activities, in projects managed by the Engineering department.
Key responsibilities
As Discipline Engineer within the Instrument Engineering Discipline you act as a
member in projects as Instrument Engineering Lead or Instrument Engineer.
You will be Quality Control Responsible for own Instrument Engineering activities in investment projects managed by the Engineering department.
Furthermore, you provide Instrument engineering calculations, prepare sketches for drafting, control of the drawings and perform necessary corrections until issuing of final construction drawings. You provide cost estimations and are responsible for development of Instrument Engineering tools.
It is your responsibility to assure that engineering and design of Nynas projects fulfills rules and regulations together with Nynas policies regarding Instrument Engineering.
You will be a member of projects and responsible for planning and quality of own work within the Instrument Engineering discipline. You will have supervision lead for Instrument engineers and instrument consultants working in or in behalf of the Nynas engineering department. It is also your responsibility for sourcing consultants to the investment projects.
In the Position as Discipline Lead Instrument you will be;
• Responsible for own work and planning within Instrument Engineering projects.
• Responsible for development of Instrument Engineering tools.
• Responsible for coordination and quality of instrumentation deliverables, drawings and calculation notes.
• Responsible for implementation of Nynas Technical Standards within the projects and quality assurance activities.
Desired qualifications
To be successful in this position you need to have a vast experience as Instrument Engineer within refinery or petrochemical industry and you need to have experience from working in hazardous environment.
You should have many years' experience from similar work as instrument engineer and It's strongly meriting to have experience from a discipline lead position. We believe that your academic background is master of science in instrument Engineering or Bachelor in instrument engineering.
In order to be successful in this position you need to be very technical oriented within instrument and passion working with questions regarding the discipline. You also need to be a good communicator as you will have a lot of different contacts both internally and externally.
