Training Director
As a Training Director you will have the overall responsibility to lead, build and drive the Lynk & Co training, learning and development team. With our employees and consumers in mind, you develop strategically the Lynk & Co culture of learning.
This highly visible role, will work under the VP Customer Experience, and in close cooperation with cross-functional departments. You have the responsibility for developing the strategy and operating model including processes, organization, performance and tools for training.
You will support the functional experts to develop content and implement training by keeping the overall responsibility and secure synergies. You are also responsible for the quality control of the training in the different functions and in our markets in co-operation with the local teams.
The ideal candidate is people and customer obsessed, has structured mindset with a good feel for project management in combination with a positive spirit and strong team player skills.
The position is based in Gothenburg with a global responsibility, which will involve frequent travelling.
Responsibilities and tasks include
* Define and build the overall Training strategy and operating model to support people and Lynk & Co business growth
* In cooperation with the cross-functional teams, looking at the Employee and Customer Journeys and processes, define all training support needed
* Support organization in establishing an on-brand, consistent and experiential material content, training tools and methodologies
* Continuously conduct training needs assessments and design continuous learning initiatives consistent with findings to ensure a dynamic training roadmap
* Effectively manage a training budget
* Manage the identification and selection of vendors to achieve strategic priorities
* Develop benchmarks and measures of success for training
* Secure the implementation of the Training solutions in the organisation
* Keep up to date on emerging industry trends and changes that affect Training
Profile and Background
* You've got the skills working in similar role. You know how to create a learning "environment" and an "experience" Training
* You're up for the challenge. You want to build a Training organization from the ground floor of a startup company. Helping to shape the learning culture.
* You're a great teammate and communicator. You can explain things in a simple, meaningful, compelling way.
* You're flexible and open-minded, and love coming up with new and exciting ways to solve problems.
* You're comfortable working cross-cultural and knows how to successfully lead a training function in a multi-cultural working environment
