GTT is now looking for a Director, Technology and Services Development, Aftermarket Technology.
Job Summary
Responsible for the Technology and Services Development you and your direct reporting managers will lead teams developing efficient aftermarket technologies/solutions and services. We do this to improve customer uptime in close collaboration with colleagues within GTT and other entities of the Volvo Group.
The teams are situated in Gothenburg and Lyon. Together we deliver the following:
Advanced engineering activities designing tailored transport solutions, enhancing customer value, improving and integrating technologies in several areas both in the vehicle and as aftermarket/services market solutions, such as vehicle usage monitoring and prediction methods, maintenance planning optimization algorithms, design for maintainability and design for uptime, as well as diagnostics
Customer services and solutions for Renault Trucks and potentially other brands - a dedicated team developing new concepts in an agile way
Feature Maintainability responsibility making robust development - and action plans for improved uptime over time
As a leader in this organization, you take pride in fostering innovative thinking, proposing and developing new solutions in close cooperation with the rest of AMT as well as our partners within the brands and business areas.
You and your team manage the aftermarket platform development through among others the Technology Area Meeting (TAM) Aftermarket Technology. You are managing the development of Product System roadmaps (PSRs) for AMT product as well as aftermarket input to the Vehicle and Powertrain PSRs. You will be part of the GTT platform and technology governance structure assuring the aftermarket business aspects of the technology development.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for leading and developing all people in the teams (direct reports and those developed through managers reporting to you). You will have the responsibility for the total AMT budget and the project portfolio deliveries within Advanced Engineering.
As a member of the Aftermarket Technology global management team you will also have responsibilities to help develop the complete AMT organization towards set objectives. You will represent Aftermarket Technology in various forums to drive the overall Volvo Group development.
You take an active role in the management of the Advanced Engineering in Complete Vehicle.

Education & Experience
You have a Master of Science degree within relevant field
You have at least 5 years people leadership experience
You have experience from engineering and or aftermarket business
You have experience from Advanced Engineering and/or Technology strategy development
