Global Supply Chain Management is now looking for a Director Supply Chain Coordination and Delivery Handling Global Supply Chain Management is the central organisation responsible for the planning, ordering, and distribution of Volvo Penta engines, drive components and accessories.Global Supply Chain Management is also responsible for inventory management of all finished products globally, the complete Sales & Operations process, process management and supply chain development.The major KPI 's within Global Supply Chain are delivery precision, forecast quality (demand & supply plan accuracy), lead times and inventory levels. Job Description:Personnel responsibility for the Supply Chain Coordinator and Delivery Handler group (currently 15 people whereof 12 located in Gothenburg, 1 in Curitiba Brazil and 1 in Lexington, Tennessee)Overall responsibility for driving continuous improvements of delivery precision in order to reach a sustainable high levelResponsibility for budget and expensesOverall responsibility for managing incoming orders from marketsOverall responsibility for Delivery planning and transport booking proceduresResponsibility for operational efficiency and quality within the order and delivery operational processesOverall coordination responsibility for operational 3PL warehousesResponsibility for an efficient and proactive communication to the market unitsResponsibility for initiation of corrective actions in order to mitigate negative effects of deviations and disturbances in supply chainMeasure, follow and act proactively upon major KPIs ' such as delivery precision, order handling time and transport precisionMember of the management team for Global Supply Chain ManagementQualifications and profile:People oriented with managerial and leadership skillsClear customer and quality focusGood organizing skills, process oriented and proactive with a drive to improveStrong in presentation and communication skillsYou should possess an ease to define and to be clear on expectations and expected deliveries from the teamAbility to handle and lead changeEfficient in decision makingExtensive knowledge in Supply Chain management and logisticsIf you are interested in working in a global context and being a part of an exciting journey with focus on growth, this is an opportunity for you.
