hela Sverige We are looking for an operationally experienced Supplier Quality Professional to build and lead our Supplier Quality and Industrialization team. In co-operation with our Group Quality organisation and Site Supplier Quality teams, you will own Northvolt's Supplier Quality and Industrialization Framework, and strategically drive all related supplier qualification and development activities and the related processes and tool development. In this role, you will lead the team of Supplier Development and Supplier Quality Engineers.
Your future key responsibilities:
- Lead and scale a rock star Supplier Quality team consisting of Supplier Development and Supplier Quality Engineers driving the industrialization of Northvolt's supply base globally.

With your team, assess new and existing suppliers to consistently meet requirements for performance, quality, cost, sustainability, and delivery.

Ensure robust Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) and Quality plans in our customer projects.

Develop and negotiate Supplier Quality Agreements and material specifications in collaboration with our Category Managers and R&D Engineers

Own the efficiency and effectiveness of our procedures for evaluating and qualifying new suppliers and materials and ensure that supplier selection follows a robust qualification process.

Take ownership of our supplier evaluation and development activities to systematically drive supplier quality performance across all dimensions.

Develop, align, and improve Supplier Quality strategy, processes, tools, and Northvolt's Supplier Quality Handbook with Northvolt's Group Quality Organization
Your profile
You share our passion to make the world a better, cleaner place. Being a Supplier Quality professional with operational experience, you have worked in automotive or industrial manufacturing environments, and you have a track record in effectively industrializing new supply chains. You are convinced that working in a diverse, multi-cultural environment does not only drive value, it also is a source of energy and satisfaction for you as a leader. Through your career you have also learned how to handle ambiguity while providing structure and guidance to your team, even in high-intensity situations and tight deadlines. You are service oriented and understand that Supplier Quality is a pivotal to Northvolt's ability to scale while you are also able to be assertive and manage demanding customer requirements. You have proven to take and guide solid decisions under uncertainty through balancing risks and possible trade-offs.
This position is a full-time employment and will include traveling to other Northvolt sites and suppliers.
We believe that you bring:
- Education and experience in quality and industrialization discipline
- Experience and specific knowledge of quality management systems, e.g., IATF16949, ISO 9001, TQM
- 10+ years of management experience within high volume manufacturing

Experience of supplier quality management in relevant industry, e.g., Battery Manufacturing or Materials, Automotive, Pharmaceutical, Food industries

Experience from auditing and developing suppliers in a global setting, i.e., Asia, Europe, North America

Experience in developing processes, manuals, standards, procedures, and documentation to support efficient Supplier Quality Management and Industrialization
