Job Description

As Director Software Engineering in the Experience Framework product area you will have line responsibility for a group of very talented Software Engineers/Architects/Designers. Together we build a world-class web client framework that enables application developers to build great UX in a super effective and declarative manner.
You will be part of our R&D operations and as a member of the Experience Framework product area's leadership team you will have a key role, both strategically and operationally, in our success.
As Director Software Engineering at IFS you will be expected to:
Coach and motivate individuals and teams
Be a role model in words and actions
Recruit new coworkers, perform appraisals and set salaries

Provide knowledge and insight in DevOps mindsets and Agile processes

Location for this position is Linköping or Gothenburg, relocation sponsorship/assistance is not provided.
Qualifications
To be a successful Director Software Engineering at IFS your mindset will be the key factor, but to get even further we would like you to have a relevant academic degree (M.Sc. or B.Sc.). Expertise knowledge in software engineering as well as English and Swedish proficiency required.
You're likely a former developer who's added a fair amount of leadership skills to your palette already, or you just can't wait to make that move.
