Service Business & Technology is continuously developing the spare parts

business within the workshop channel by creating the conditions for our workshop network to sell profitable spare parts by securing parts availability, parts cost control and facilitate part sales. Service Business & Technology is also responsible for everything needed to service and repair a car.

Service & Repairs is part of Service Business & Technology and are responsible for the business and the technical development needed for service and repair a car. This responsibility goes all the way for product creation to implementation in the markets.

As Head of Service & Repairs you will develop and manage the Remanufacturing Business Program strategy, the Spare Part Commercial Requirements strategy, the Global Volvo Genuine Parts concept and create and drive a cost control mind-set for the total value chain of spare parts,

This is a unique and exciting business challenge where the right candidate will have the opportunity to be developing both the technical and business side of Service & Repairs.

Scope:

As Head of Service & Repairs, you will report to the global Head of Service Business & Technology.

Service & Repairs consist of the following teams:
* Electric Propulsion
* Hybrid Propulsion
* Climate
* Motion
* Special Tools
* Wheels & Tires

Your key tasks

As Head of Service & Repairs, you will be ultimately responsible for leading, coaching, developing and driving global product performance for the Service & Repair product portfolio and ensure operational excellence.

You will work actively and closely with regions and markets to find business potential in current product portfolio and capturing feedback and requirements from regions, markets and customers and drive serviceability requirements towards vehicle development to minimize service cost-of-ownership

You will develop Service and Repair products in collaboration with other functions like procurement, marketing, sales and regions to gain market insights and make sure that they are attractive to customers, marketable and can be produced and delivered in a competitive way.

Your responsibility is also to secure that Service and Repair products are available when new vehicle lines are released and that concepts, tools and ways-of-working of high-performing products are spread globally where applicable.

Head of Service & Repairs will have a life-cycle responsibility and optimize the content of the Service and Repair product portfolio.

You and your skills

You are an experienced leader and have a minimum of 5 years executive leadership experience. Further, you have experience from aftermarket and international automotive context. To conclude, you preferably have experience from leading change in a complex organization and experience from an agile work environment and are fluent verbally and in writing English.

On a personal level

For this position, you need to have an excellent communication skill, high integrity, strong sense of delivery and a personal eagerness to accomplish results and getting things done, in time and with quality.

You are a communicative leader with an entrepreneurial mind-set, ambitious, energetic, creative and open minded with aim to find new solutions to existing problems.
