Related Party Business - let's introduce ourselves
Related Party Business is a part of the Finance organization. We are a business-minded partner, with a mission to maximize the value for the Group and act as the gateway between the Group and our related parties, e.g. Geely, Polestar, Lynk & Co, Aurobay, World of Volvo, HaleyTek, and NOVO Energy. In day-to-day business, we drive the development of new contracts and frame agreements with our related parties and oversee adherence to Related Party Directive.
Now, we are looking for a new colleague to strengthen our team. Here, you'll play an integral part within the Related Party Business team, working with Related Party Business, corporate projects, and contract management for our strategic affiliates and related parties. You act in an international environment together with cross-functional teams to capture business opportunities and leverage group synergies.
What you'll do
By joining the Related Party Business Team, you will belong to a dedicated team, with great performance culture, having experience in commercial negotiations. Together with us, you will get the opportunity to be involved in Volvo Car's future successes as we enable our company to meet our strategy and purpose.

Responsibilities in the role;
• Lead projects for Volvo Cars towards our related parties, leverage business opportunities and create value for the Group. In this project leadership role, you should be able to ensure business case, balance risk and govern compliance to policies and procedures.
• Set commercial agreements between Volvo Cars and our related parties
• Govern that we fulfill arm lengths principle in order to ensure no illegal value transfer.
What you'll bring
How about you? To succeed in the role you should have a doer mentality combined with analytical skills, and be able to quickly grasp complex ideas and concepts. You should be bold, have high integrity, and have a high level of commitment and drive. Furthermore, you are strong in communication, both written and verbal.
Ideally, you will fulfill our expectations in:
• + 7 years of experience either within finance, strategic business function or similar
• Senior project leadership skills
• Experience with contract establishment including terms and conditions is required
• Comprehensive business insight
• Degree in Finance and/or Engineering, MBA or equivalent
• Strong negotiations skills
