Volvo Group Real Estate is an integrated function in the Volvo Group, with strategic and operational responsibility for the Group's properties and real estate assets as well as for facility management. We are responsible for the entire property lifecycle, from acquisition to divestment. We optimize the use and value of the Volvo Group's facilities, owned and leased. We act as a center of expertise, generating economies of skills and scale in the real estate area. We are approximately 350 employees supporting Volvo Group in 60 countries worldwide. Our property footprint consists of some 1000 sites, both leased and owned. We manage all types of properties: dealers, workshops, offices, warehouses, production facilities and more.
In Gothenburg, Volvo Group Real Estate is leading the Campus Lundby project, creating a unique center for development of transport solutions. Campus Lundby will be characterized by openness and room for internal as well as external partnerships, and thereby take an active part in the development of the City of Gothenburg.

Director Region North, Sweden Industrial and office Division
The Sweden Industrial and office Division is one of five Divisions belonging to the Real Estate Services. The Volvo Group Real Estate head quarter is located in Gothenburg. Sweden Industrial and office Division includes four regions, Gothenburg, West, Middle and North
Region North has three main sites located in Umeå, Köping and Flen.

We are now recruiting for the position as Director Region North, Sweden Industrial and office Division.

The portfolio consists of Industrial Properties, Warehouses and Offices, both owned and leased. The position shall manage a total team of approx. 9 people. The position reports to the Vice President, Sweden Industrial and office Division.

Core responsibilities:
• Manage, lead and operate the property portfolio and facility management function at the region, in line with the RE and Division Operational Plan
• Deploy all possible real estate solutions in a collaborative, structured and efficient way strongly integrated with the receivers
• Work according to common processes and drive continuous improvements, develop maintenance plans and cost saving plans
• Manage construction and business projects, including; cost control, reporting and budgeting
• Drive excellence in execution and space optimization for all our key receivers
• Cooperate with the service specialist set-up in the division
• Deliver and follow up of defined KPI 's
• Support in driving possible synergy effects within the division
• Handle leasing agreements within the division

Who are you?

We are searching for a person with an experience of managerial positions within the Real Estate area or/ and Heavy Industry.

We would like you to be able to show successful evidence of good leadership skills, embracing diversity is a natural part of you management style. We also expect you to have a real interest in developing others and managing change is a natural part of your daily work. Your communication style gives you respect and trust within the organization, adapting your communication style to all levels in the organization comes natural to you. A success factor is to be able to handle multiple demands within the organization.

What experiences and skills would we like you to have?

Bachelor of Science/MBA within the area of Real Estate Management or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities is required to be successful in this position.

Swedish is probably your mother tongue, and since we work in a global environment it is important to have a highly fluent knowledge of English language both written and oral.

You enjoy building business relationships, are well structured and have an analytical approach and a tactical perspective in your daily work. You are business and customer oriented. We are having fun at work, and since you are a good team player you bring value also in this perspective.
