In this position you will be responsible for the Quality and Regulatory Compliance of the Getinge Operations dedicated to manufacturing Life Science products. The main purpose of the position includes management of the Local Quality Managers to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations. The position belongs to the Corporate function QRC and includes cooperation with and being part of the Business Unit Life Science management team.
Among your main responsibilities and tasks will be:
Ensure each Life Science manufacturing facility has implemented a Quality System fully compliant with the applicable Quality and Environmental standards and any additional applicable regulations and maintains third party certifications required for its activities.
Ensure all Quality Functions are in full compliance with Getinge quality, regulatory and business expectations and goals.
Ensure that effective management is in place to efficiently oversee the day to day Quality functions that support the business.
Ensure adequate follow-up of investigation of critical issues, implementation of corrective and preventive actions as appropriate and implementation of quality action plans to minimize business risks.
Ensure that product field action and stop shipments are carried out when quality concerns arise.
Escalate situation requiring it to Corporate Quality management.
Ensure the staffing levels are adequate to support the Quality System at each manufacturing location.
Manage personnel and organizational development and succession planning.
Provide sufficient guidance and oversight to ensure product releases occur in a compliant and timely manner.
Oversee each facility's Quality Group budget and ensure it is in accordance with Getinge business strategy.
The position is located in Göteborg, Sweden. The role requires occasional international travel, approximately around 30 %. You will be reporting to the Vice President Corporate Quality Operations.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for you to have the following experience and personal qualities:
Bachelor's degree in science or engineering
Minimum 10 years related leadership experience in QA preferably in a Life Science manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge and experience in ISO 9001 and other related regulatory requirements.
Successful interactions and experience with regulatory agencies
Personnel management experience
Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
Able to interact with all levels of the organization in providing direction and information.
Fluent in English.

To succeed in this position, you need to be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize and work unhindered under pressure. You have an ability to work independently in a well-structured and systematic manner.
