hela Sverige On behalf of our client we are now looking for a dedicated director for QA/QC. The client is a Uppsala based pharmaceutical company.
The Director QA/QC is head of the QA/QC department which is part of the R&D organization of the client. The position is accountable for managing the QA/QC operations in line with the company's strategy and objectives and in accordance with all applicable standards for GMP, GCP and GDP. A main objective for the Director QA/QC is to lead the evolvement of the Quality Management System to ensure the system is adapted to the needs according to the company's strategy and continuously in compliance with applicable regulations. That means e.g. increased focus on oversight and management of contract manufacturers and supply chain of products commercialized on the US market by the client.
Main areas of responsibilities
• Responsible for managing the Quality Management System in line with the company's strategy and applicable regulations and standards like GMP, GCP and GDP.
• Responsible for establishment and monitoring of relevant metrics for effectiveness and efficiency of the Quality Management System and reporting the status including need for improvements to top management.
• Responsible for managing the resources within QA/QC.
• Responsible for setting and achieving departmental objectives based on company objectives.

Education
• University degree in pharmacy, chemistry, biology or related discipline.
Experiences and competencies
• Several years of experience from the field of Quality Management.
• Thorough knowledge of quality systems, quality management tools and techniques, GMP, GCP, GLP and GDP.
• Extensive experience of working in projects.
• Speaking and writing English fluently.
Personal characteristics
• A proven record as a clear leader with strong interpersonal skills.
• Engaging and capable of creating a learning environment with delegated responsibilities.
• Convincing communication skills.
