What you will be a part of
Surveillance provides efficient solutions for safety and security, for surveillance and decision support, and for threat detection and protection. The portfolio covers airborne, ground-based and naval radar, electronic warfare, combat systems and C4I solutions, and traffic management systems.
Sourcing & Production is a division with approximately 600 employees where all of Surveillance sourcing and production activities are gathered in one organisational unit. Production Järfälla consist of approximately 220 employees and we host manufacturing of products and systems for business units Electronic Warfare, C2S (Combat Systems and C4I Solutions) and Avionics. The production department incorporates Industrialisation, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Project Office and Quality.
Your role
Production in Järfälla is currently in an extensive phase of growth. We are striving for excellence in our production flow and you will lead the change. Your goal will be to increase efficiency and build manufacturing knowledge within the organisation. You will have 6-8 senior managers reporting directly to you, all based in Järfälla. You will be a member of the Sourcing & Production management team and report to the VP Sourcing & Production, Surveillance.
You will have the full responsibility for all production activities at the Järfälla site. This includes development of the production organisation, mainly focusing on the areas of Industrialisation, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management and Project Execution.
You will ensure that KPIs and Key Initiatives are adequate for your area of responsibility. This includes driving and closely monitoring your business progress and reporting to the VP Sourcing and Production on a monthly basis. You have the responsibility for adhering to the financial guidelines.
You will have full accountability for continuous improvements and optimisation regarding developing processes, methods and tools relating to your area activity. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining the talent pipeline in cooperation with our HR function.

We need a leader who has the ability to drive change without compromising quality, speed or flexibility in our supply chain. We are looking for a person with great leadership skills, exceptional drive and excellent knowledge and experience from production of low/medium volume products of complex design.
At least 10 years in senior management position within production
Well experienced in low/medium volume production of complex products
Excellent business understanding, customer orientation and skills to combine strategic thinking with operational actions
A strong drive combined with excellent communication skills and the ability to generate energy
Proven ability and interest in leading, developing and challenging organisations, management teams and employees
Executes leadership in an inclusive manner and promotes diversity
Appropriate professional and/or postgraduate qualifications in a business oriented-, technical-, economics- or legal discipline
Excellent skills in spoken and written Swedish and English.
Your place of work will be at our site in Järfälla but as part of your role, you will be liaising with suppliers, partners and other parts of Surveillance and Saab, therefore some travelling will be required.
