Description
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Director, Product Operations, to build and lead the Product Operations function at the heart of our product organization. Your mission is to systematize our product development lifecycle and enable our product teams to better serve our customers and markets with innovative and valuable products, delivered at speed.
You will be a key driver in our transformation into a product-centric organization, establishing the processes, systems, and best practices needed to scale effectively, in collaboration with key stakeholders.
This is a high-impact role to level up our operational maturity, empower our people and teams, and enable growth and speed. You'll have an inspiring and challenging mission and contribute to levelling up our capabilities.
Responsibilities:
• Build, lead, and nurture a high-performing Product Operations team, and establish and improve core functions including e.g. Processes, Pricing, Tooling, Product Analytics, and Project Management.
• Improve our engine by strengthening our product development and operations processes to ensure they are efficient, effective, and scalable.
• Drive transformation to accelerate our adoption of a modern product culture and an AI-native mindset in an empowered, outcome-driven setting, in close collaboration with product leadership and other stakeholders.
• Enable improved business agility, customer focus, and how to accelerate sustainable and continuous growth. This could e.g. be in the shape of processes, frameworks, and decision-support tools.
• Define and own our tooling stack, core processes, and workflows, incl. budget. Select the right tools and automation for the job, drive adoption, and provide a smooth and effective experience for our teams.
• Provide process and execution frameworks for product discovery, planning, and delivery that span multiple teams and functions. This could e.g. be in the shape of project and planning management, or GTM readiness motions, in collaboration with stakeholders.
This role is based at SINCH HQ in Stockholm, Sweden and reports to the Chief of Staff for Product.
Requirements:
• You have 10+ years of relevant experience in Product Operations and/or digital Product Development from a global technology organization.
• Experience leading and building high performing teams, ideally in a hybrid and multi-cultural environment. You are a collaborative and humble leader who leads through inclusion, engagement, and transparency. You have the courage to challenge the status quo while actively listening and learning from others.
• Experience driving change and transformation in a large-scale, global technology organization, ideally one that has undergone a transformation towards a product-led operating model, while rapidly growing. You have a strong instinct for what is required to succeed in a fast-growing and competitive marketplace, and you embrace and leverage modern technologies and methodologies to accelerate outcomes.
• Proven understanding of modern product development methodologies and expertise in designing and implementing scalable operational systems and processes that are fit-for-purpose.
• You are pragmatic and resilient with a positive, can-do attitude, a growth mindset, and a genuine passion for collaborating with others.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
Our corporate language is English, please submit your application in English.
At Sinch, we value learning, embrace change, and offer opportunities for personal and professional growth. We are not supporting relocation at this time.
Applicants must:
