Process & IT belongs to the Finance, Strategy and Process & IT organization. We are responsible for driving cross functional projects and manage and support global and local process work in terms of methods and coaching. We are also overall responsible for IT at Volvo Buses and to drive the Process & IT strategy globally and by that we are working with colleagues from all over the world. We want to make a difference by focusing on Engagement, Delivery excellence and to be Future driven in all we do.
The Process & IT Office is a department within Process & IT overall focusing on driving P&IT strategies and financial IT framing for our company.
Volvo Buses is now seeking a Director Process & IT Office who has the drive and passion to contribute to our profitability and who sees that the key to success is to develop the organization and its people to meet future business challenges.

Job Description
Your main focus within the role is to drive and coordinate all important activities as the P&IT Long Term Plan and Roadmap, Process Management Governance, Project Portfolio Management, P&IT Request Handling Administration and Application Portfolio Management.
However, your absolute most important assignment within the role is to continue to develop a high performing team were people take pride in being responsible for their complete deliveries.

Required knowledge/experience
In this position you will be part of Volvo Buses Process & IT management team and report to the Vice President of Process & IT.
To be successful in your new role we believe you have the following knowledge/experience:*Passion for developing people, operations and product and taking advantage of the full diversity of the team
• Familiar with modern managing principles and techniques within a global organization and act as a change ambassador to reach targets and objectives
• Deep understanding of both business and IT and a capability to actively use Information Technology to find new ways of developing Volvo Buses business for the future
• Experience from managing complex IT portfolios, solutions and projects within industrial companies and must have experience from managing vendors and vendor negotiations
• Eager to learn and work with your own development
• University/Master's degree in engineering or equivalent
• Commercially oriented, intuitive and excellent communication and team-working skills, including great communication skills in English, spoken and written
