Portfolio Strategy and Planning within Product Management Commercial Operations, works in partnership with product groups and clusters to ensure a market driven product portfolio strategy and product roadmaps meeting market needs short and long-term. We drive the market segmentation ensuring that value chain insights and foresights are available for portfolio strategy & planning.
As a director for Portfolio Strategy and Planning you will consider total company product portfolio and together with the Product Management Team and Clusters, define the Product Roadmaps and contribute to the Product and Service Strategy. You will report to VP Marketing and will have four direct reports, Portfolio Managers and Associate Portfolio Managers, in Sweden.
The position is based in Lund (Sweden) or in Modena (Italy).
Main responsibilities
.Portfolio Strategy Management - define and align the future approach and directions
• Market Based Innovation Management - develop in demand market based insights & foresights for product requirements
• Lead annual marketing Strategy cycle-plan and co-ordinate Marketing team collaborative work leading to delivery of marketing annual presentation to strategy council and cascading to other key stakeholder groups
• Ensure effective continuous product development needs and enrich product and technology roadmap contents and ensure continuous improvement to process and outcomes
• Ensure stakeholders engagement, alignment and input
Qualifications
To be successful in this position you have experience from Market Company, Cental or Cluster either in Marketing & Product Management or in Sales. Significant strategic capability is required and prior marketing experience in Market Company is preferred. You have managed direct report teams' preferable multicultural talent. You have strong management skills and influencing skills and the ability to work in a matrix organization. Furthermore, you have prior experience for creating and selling in new concepts, approaches and ideas. You are a curious and continuous learner and possess the ability to work cross functionally.
It is required that you have a total minimum experience of 10 years. You have a University degree or MBA or equivalent in Product management or Marketing discipline.
