What you'll do
As our Director Plant Project Management, you will take ownership of our project management team with a variety of Industrial projects concerning the Volvo Cars Torslanda plant.
You will work in close cooperation with the whole organization such as Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics, Facility Management, IT as well as other parts of Volvo Cars.
You are to ensure excellent project execution inline with the plant strategies and visions as a part of our journey to reach Volvo Cars long term targets as well as preparing the Plant for future product architectures.
Do you fit the profile?
To be successful in this job, you need several years of relevant management experience. You should have a strong interest in leadership and in developing people - you are highly successful in bringing out the best in others. You find energy and motivation in releasing people's potential, allowing them to grow.
You might have a technical background, preferably with some hands on experience and an academic education. Previous experience from manufacturing and logistics and/or product development is a strong merit.
We know that you believe in the power of people. Good communication and cooperation skills are crucial to succeed in this role. With high integrity and professionalism you should be comfortable to lead in a constantly changing environment. You are curious, and you have an entrepreneurial approach and find ways to overcome challenges.
