AstraZeneca Campus Södertälje is one of the world's largest pharmaceutical manufacturing units where innovative ideas are transformed into finished products, every minute. We are now looking for a Director Operational Technology who is ready to take on the important challenge of improving and developing our business. As an integral part of our Engineering leadership team, you will be responsible for the operation of our segregated network and its Operational Technology (OT) systems. About the role
As Director Operational Technology, you will be a key player in setting the strategy for our department and making sure the we deliver reliable systems with the highest quality to meet the demands of the continuously evolving business. You will work independently, taking initiative and making decisions on complex issues. As Director Operational Technology you will be part of our functions management team and report to the Function Lead Engineering.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will be to:

Collaborate closely with stakeholders and IT partners
*
Secure the delivery of support and documentation of existing systems
*
Be responsible for developing and executing strategies and plans that support the organization's long and short-term goals.
*
Manage and monitor the performance of the functional area, and proactively identify any barriers to delivery or performance and to take the necessary steps to address these challenges directly
Essential requirements
*
A BSc or MSc within a relevant area
*
Solid experience and knowledge in leadership and management, particularly in managing Segregated Network and its systems
*
Experience working in a global environment
*
Ability to set and execute strategy
*
Fluent in both Swedish and English
It is desirable and meriting if you have experience in setting up or participating in the upgrade of programs for replacing obsolete assets.
