hela Sverige As an Associate General Counsel you will be part of an international legal department that serves customers and provides a full range of legal advice and services across the globe.
Your responsibilities would include:
• Giving legal advice to various Nasdaq business units', in particular our Global Capital Access, Technology & Insights business group.
• Drafting and negotiating agreements for Nasdaq's product offerings including agreements with customers and resellers and third party vendors and partners.
• Protecting the intellectual property rights of the business and facilitating growth by taking part in acquisitions, divestments and negotiations with partners.
• As required providing legal assistance to other business units within the Nasdaq organization, focusing on contracts support and M&A activity.
• Understanding the regulatory context of Nasdaq's market operations and how regulations impact the company.
• Has a good understanding of cross-border legal matters.
• Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Law
• Experience Required: 4 to 8 years of practicing commercial law at a law firm or international company.
• Special Qualifications: Proficient in technology and technology related agreements.
• Expertise in more than one area of legal practice.
• Excellent language skills in written and spoken English.
• French or German language skills would be meritorious
• Positive attitude and an ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment
