The Director of Sustainability will have main responsibility on everything we do relating to "Planet", but the role wil, in close cooperation with other departments and functions, create sustainable experiences, products and services that also affect the other "People" and "Profit".
Responsibilities
The Director of Sustainability function leads the development of responsible business behavior for NCH in alignment with the overall strategy and in close collaboration with other group functions and business areas. Areas of responsibility include strategy and framework, support the development and execution of the strategy, integrating sustainability across functions throughout NCH and stakeholder engagement.
The Director of Sustainability is the central point of contact for any and all matters with internal as well as external stakeholders on the subject of sustainability, and is the trusted advisor for top management on these issues.
The Director of Sustainability is responsible for reporting on all activities related to sustainability within the company, and the role is also responsible for maintaining, improving and implementing routines related to the the area.
Qualification
The ideal candidate has a Master's Degree in a relevant field and 5 years + of relevant working experience in the field (Environmental, Sustainability or CSR)
You have excellent strategic and influential skills
You have great commercial and business understanding
You are strategic and analytic, but yet, you have the ability to turn strategy to action
Great communication skills - both on stage and one-to-one. With the aptitude to turn complex challenges into easy to understand calls for action
Good interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive change in a matrix organisation
The Director of Sustainability is part of the senior management team of Hotel Services. Hotel Services is a highly skilled corps of specialists at Nordic Choice that take care of all the stuff that is better done centrally, in order to free time for the hotels to focus on the guests. This includes shared services and policy-making, such as sustainability and culture.
You can work from either Stockholm or Oslo.
