For this new role we are looking for an experienced and passionate leader that will be responsible for leading and coordinating supply chain objective across the production sites to support the Director/ Managers of Operations on the sites to achieve the operational goals

As Director of Supply Chain EMEA you will be part of business function Operations reporting to VP Operations EMEA and part the EMEA Operations leadership team. You will lead a mixed team based in Sweden, Italy and the Netherlands plus additional teams as we continue our growth journey.

Key duties:
You will make sure that we develop processes, tools and most importantly develop the team competence to drive the EMEA Supply Chain Agenda to meet the business plan and Operational strategy for an unmatched user experience and operational excellence. You will lead and coach a multi-site team to exceed expectations and continuously develop to improve the forecast, the order-to-delivery process and communication to suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
This role will also drive a healthy development of our forecast and inventory turns while maintaining a high service level on our products across the EMEA sites including the Distribution Centers.

• Retain and develop talent and build a strong performing team that have fun at work
• Manage and maintain stock controls for all materials including quality, ensuring a level delivery plan with visual controls that supports production plans on the various sites
• Develop and support EMEA's S&OP process and demand forecasting.
• Drive supplier performance related to on time deliveries and quality of inbound goods
• Drive regional sourcing initiatives with Group Sourcing to optimize NWC and create demand agility
• Drive "best practices" that positively influence Sales & Operational Planning and forecast accuracy across the sites in EMEA
• Develop "best practices" in transportation, warehouse/distribution and inventory management; and lead the development of distribution network optimization strategy.

Your background:
We assume that you have acquired leadership and collaboration skills and have experience from both strategic and operational work. You have:

• An academic degree, preferably Bachelor's degree in business or related field is preferred
• Many years work experience in materials, logistics, and/or supply chain management; automotive industry experience preferred.

• Successful track record leading positive cultural change and organizational effectiveness
• Fluent written and spoken Swedish and English

It is a big bonus if you also have experience from working in an international setting with multi-site MedTech development.

The successful candidate will have a strong professional background and demonstrate teamwork, drive deliverables, excellent oral and written communication skills, and a commitment to excellence, learning, and growth.
