hela Sverige Global company Symphony is looking for a Director of Product Management for RTC to their Stockholm office in order to rise their product even further.
About the role
As a Director of Product Management you will be a central player of real-time communications (RTC) team, and take ownership for that area of the Symphony platform. You will be the face of the real-time communications team and build cross-functional relationships to ensure tight alignment on the vision and priorities. You will here work collaboratively with the engineering team to develop appropriate planning, prioritization, and release management processes, while ensuring resilience, quality, and performance control. You will also work close to the designer team in order to evaluate the end-user perspective to ensure that customers will have a delightful experience using Symphony's technologies and communicate the feedback to your team.
The Director of Product Management is a key player within the organization cooperating with different areas, varying from technical teams, sales departments, clients, customers as well as the company CEO, enabling a good workflow for everyone. By developing product strategies and roadmaps for RTC you need to understand the market and competition and feed that information into the roadmap to stay ahead of the curve.
All the aspects of your job has one thing in common, to make sure that the teams meet their deadlines on time in an effective way. Since you will have a coordinating role working cross functional among different teams and areas of responsibilities you will also scout the surroundings to stay ahead of the competition.

Who are you?
You have several years of experience as a Product Manager or an equivalent role and you are comfortable in leading and guiding other people in their work. Preferably you have experience from working with live-streaming or conferencing. You have achieved a BS. in computer sciences, finance or other related field. As a person you are great team-player who always focuses on how to make the best possible for the team members. You are experienced both in strategical decisions as well and how to prioritizing teams to work effectively to meet deadlines. You are also comfortable coordinating different tasks to various people and teams. You are a star when it comes to communication whether you are dealing with developers, clients or upper management. A part from this you are realistic in regards to expectations and confident standing up for your and the teams opinion, hence you know when to say no.
