Packsize is a world leader in the concept of "on demand packaging" and we develop smart machines for our customers in the global market. We are continuing our expansion and are now recruiting a Director of Procurement to Enköping. We are looking for a true "people manager" who enjoy working in a fast-growing international company.

We offer an exciting job where you can make a difference and together with us reach new goals. Packsize has about 500 employees, of which about 105 are located in Enköping. Here we have procurement for the production of our various high-tech machines serving the global market, as well as R&D, finance, HR and IT. Our R&D team is complete and consists of engineers in electricity, mechanics, electronics / control systems, tests and software.
As our Director of Procurement you will lead the procurement department, which consists of seven talented employees, and you will have full responsibility for all our procurement activities including vendor agreements, purchasing and deliveries. The role includes:
Coach and develop all employees and leaders within your function in line with Packsize culture and valuesResponsible for quality and corresponding measures within the department. Eg. parts delivered on time, with right quality and quantity at the lowest possible cost. ECO, (Engineering Change Orders) and CAR/PAR, (Corrective/Preventive Action Reports), are all raised/entered and processed on timeResponsible for building and developing strong, sustainable and ethic partnerships with vendors, Packsize teams and customers on a global levelResponsible for SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) within the departmentMember of Leadership Team in Enköping

You can act independently and manage your work in a structured way. You have an engaging leadership style that motivates your team and you enjoy working at a high pace with varying tasks. It is also important to have a great ability to collaborate as the role involves many cross functional contacts within the organization.
Your background
Logistics, economics, engineering or equivalent education at academic level
Experience from developing and leading purchasing and logistics functionsStrong background in leadershipProject and change management capability requiredPrevious experience within manufacturing industry, preferably with in-house R&DFluent Swedish and English speaking and writing required International work experience preferredISO 9001 & 14001 knowledge are meritingSAP knowledge are meriting
