Nevs Technical development center is now adding resources to the China organization and is looking for a Director of Nevs R&D JV in Tianjin!
You will be in a key resource of R&D JV team and reporting to the Vice President Engineering & Product Development of Nevs. The position is placed in both Trollhättan (25%) and Tianjin (75%) in the beginning, and mainly in Tianjin later on.
Description
The Director of Nevs R&D JV in Tianjin is involved in all phases of project and will:
• Lead product development process, executed by a cross-functional team in Trollhättan and Tianjin
• Be responsible for dialogue with Nevs resources in Trollhättan
• Recruit and build up local technical skills /office in Tianjin
• Support Nevs Purchasing department in sourcing work
• Be responsible for own subsystems
• Coordinate development work between Trollhättan and Tianjin
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
• B.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Relevant experience within development in Automotive Business, minimum 10 years
• International experience
• Experience in management positions
• English and Swedish, both spoken and written.

• Ability to plan and prioritize
• Have business and technical skills.
• Have highly structured working approach.
• Able to "navigate" in complex organizational/political structures within different cultures
• Have excellent management and communication skills.

Terms
National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current Collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
