Job Description
Procera Networks is looking for an experienced business developer to lead the company?s efforts in developing partnerships with global resellers and systems integrators (SI). You report to the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO).
Procera Networks applies a combination of direct and indirect sales. Reseller and integration partners provide local presence, facilitate procurement, and fulfill delivery. We sell worldwide and our primary target groups are tier-1 and tier-2 mobile, cable and fixed line operators. Telecom Equipment Manufacturers (TEM), like Ericsson and NSN, and Systems Integrators (SI), like HP and IBM, are partners that match the above criteria.
Your responsibility is to qualify these partners, establish partnerships, and develop the relationship to maximize a prosperous result for both parties. This is a global position that requires frequent international travel. The position is most probably located at our headquarters in the Bay Area (Fremont, CA), or in Europe.
You must be able to prosper in a dynamic and diverse international organization. You must be self-motivated and highly energetic with strong cross-functional skills and a spirit of working in a fast-moving growth company.
• Serve as the focal point for Procera Networks? global reseller partner efforts
• Plan and work independently to sign up and develop these partnerships to maximize success
• Work with Procera Networks R&D to accommodate technical integration requirements, with Marketing to support the roll-out, and Sales to map global and regional reseller efforts and ensure success
Desired Skills & Experience
• A minimum of eight (8) years of industry experience from the networking industry, working with service provider customers, and preferably in the DPI/PCEF segment
• Documented success of signing up and developing prosperous partnership with TEMs, e.g. Ericsson and NSN, and global SIs, e.g. IBM and HP
• A good technical competence level within advanced networking technology
• Strong communication skills with experience in dealing with TEMs, large SIs and global tier-1 carriers
• Fluent English language skills, including networking terminology
