We are now looking for a Director Marketing & Sales - Business Unit Underwater Systems
Your role
In this role you will be responsible for marketing and selling Saab Dynamics underwater portfolio towards both national and/or international customers. You will play an important role supporting the business unit's growth.
Tasks will include, but are not limited to:
• Identifying business opportunities with both new and existing customers
• Establish and develop Capture plans
• Arrange and conduct meetings with potential customers
• Develop and build long-term business relationships
• Understand customer requirements and build presentations that addresses business needs
• Knowledgeable of the sales process and ability to negotiate and close business deals
• Participate in exhibitions and customer events
• Actively contribute to continuous business improvement.
Your profile
You love business and to build long-term business relationships. You are a performance driven person that is motivated by exceeding customer expectations and with an exceptional drive to achieve sales targets.
You should also:
• have a marketing & sales focused experience in general with deep knowledge and understanding of governmental/public/defense in particular
• have experience from working with key account management towards big and complex organizations
• have excellent communication and negotiation skills, verbally and written in both Swedish and English
• feel confident in communicating at all organizational levels
• be comfortable working independently as well as part of a business team
• have high integrity and stand up for what you believe is right
• be interested in developing both professionally and personally and have the willingness and ability to learn new skills, processes and tools.
• feel motivated by Saab's values, Expertise, Trust and Drive
This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.

Saab develops high technology underwater systems that enable security forces to enhance their situational awareness, extend their operational capabilities and respond to any threat - even in the harshest environments.
Underwater Systems is a profit and loss Business Unit within Business Area Dynamics. Underwater systems offers remotely operated and autonomous vehicles as well as torpedoes and underwater sensors across a global customer base.
As the world's leading underwater e-robotics company we continually invest in new product and capability development as a prime contractor or as a partner to other international defense companies.
Business cases are often large and complex with long-term commitments covering development, delivery and support over many decades.
