Here at Scania Academy our mission is to work with continuous learning and competence development as a key piece of the puzzle to enable Scania's transformation.
Traditionally learning has happened in settings that we recognize from classroom trainings and formal setups. Now our way of learning is also transforming, and we are looking for information and knowledge in completely new ways. Learning takes place more and more continuously and as an integral part of the daily work.
A major component for us succeeding with the transformation will be effective leadership behaviors and mature teams that are able to embrace change continuously. The Leadership and Organisation Development team works with three major value streams - individual leadership development, team development and organisation development. They are responsible to develop and deliver concepts connected to all three streams.
What we can offer
As Director of Leadership and Organisation Development at Scania Academy, you will lead a team consisting of experienced competence developers and be fostering the right condition for the team to succeed and grow. During the past few years they have been changing their way of working to think more of scalable and global solutions that can reach the far corners of our organization and draw advantage of the major leaps technology have brought with it, being able to deliver over digital platforms with measurable effect. That transformation journey continues and we are looking for a manager keen to embark on it.
As head of the team and member of the Scania Academy Management Team, you will be contributing to discussions and decisions about Scania's learning strategy and also to understanding new techniques and methods to meet the accelerating speed of business. You will be interacting in both the global Scania landscape and the Traton Group, and have the possibility to work with colleagues all over the world.
Profile
We think you have experience from working with learning and development and a mentality to dare to try new ways of reaching a global target group. You have great communication and listening skills, with the ability to engage and inspire individuals and teams across various levels of the organisation. Your burning interest for competence, culture and change is obvious, and your previous leadership experience has developed you into a leader others want to follow.
We believe you have an experience within behavioral science and previous managerial experiences. It is an advantage if you know Scania's organisation and have a good network internally.
