Culture Development & Talent Management is part of Volvo Group Human Resources. The department is responsible for Talent management, Diversity, Employer branding, Performance management, Culture development, VGAS and HR strategy within Volvo Group.
Position Description
As Director HR Internal Communication you drive communication related to the HR areas of responsibility that supports the Group's strategic direction.
You report to the Senior Vice President Culture Development & Talent Management.
Main activities and responsibilities:
• Provide strategic insight and communication support to the Executive Vice President HR and her management team, facilitating effective change management and thereby strengthening employee engagement and commitment.
• Lead the planning, execution and follow-up of internal communication within the HR community that builds engagement for and understanding of the HR strategy.
• Support specific initiatives and projects. This typically involves working together with HR or communication professionals in the Group's different Business Areas and Truck Divisions.
• Support consistency and coherence, ensuring that HR related communication is aligned with Group level communication strategy and plans. To achieve this you will have a functional reporting line to the SVP Internal Communication and be a member of relevant networks and fora.
• Work hands-on with communication activities, such as writing texts, creating presentation material, producing videos, arranging town hall meetings and facilitating dialogue.

You are a trusted and respected advisor to senior leaders and actively seek opportunities to coach. You are not easily intimidated but know where and when to compromise. One of your skills is the ability to negotiate conflicting requirements from different stakeholders to build a coherent plan which is accepted by all.
You are seen as a credible business person, and are able to quickly analyze complex scenarios to determine where and how communication can help solve business problems.
A solid project manager, you can successfully arrange major events, such as management conferences, town hall meetings, road shows, etc. You are structured and always respect deadlines.
You are able to write in a variety of styles in a way that is engaging and aligned with core messages. You believe that following up communication outcome is essential.
You are self-driven and know how to build relationships with stakeholders and colleagues.
You have a relevant formal education and have a minimum of five years' experience from working in a similar role. You are fluent in English and preferably in an additional major language used within the Group.
