Working within Trucks Product Management
The Industries and Applications team is our core resource backbone for understanding the product needs of our customers and to hands-on drive product related growth activities towards and together with our Business units in Commercial Operations. We are working in a truly global context and are in constant contact with BU Sales and Presales departments. Therefore you're leading a team of nine product managers that each have the responsibility to drive and develop a part of the 37 truck applications globally. The PM's are experts in respective industry teams (i.e. Retail, Postal & Courier industry) and their applications, but when visiting a market they represent the whole truck portfolio. On top of this one Body Building Manager complements the team bridging the competency between R&D's body building lab (RSP), the BU's and the body builders.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities
As Director Industries & Applications, you will face a broad range of deliverables:

• Follow industry trends and identify new business possibilities and customer demands
• Develop strategies and action plans to secure Scania's long term profitability and volume objectives
• Systematically follow up on the application volume and profit targets - act on deviations
• Initiate and monitor ongoing projects to
- Secure that the customer value in our products reach our salesforce and customers
- Actively contribute to driving price positioning
• Place demands on and support BU:s in continuously optimizing their marketed truck product range
• Facilitate resources needed to perform market introductions (i.e. sales trainings), exhibitions and other events
• Actively provide customer demands as input to Product Planning who in turn place requirements on future product development.

Together with your team you will work closely together with other parts of KT as well as the Business Units in order to secure our short, medium and long term growth. You will have many interfaces, internal as well as external.

In this role you will report to the VP Product Management, be part of the KTP management team and you are expected to actively contribute to KTP:s governance and the overall business development within Trucks.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a strong and well proven leadership. You are consistently guiding your team towards reaching your targets whilst focusing on a strong and forward leaning team. You have a deep commercial understanding, a passion for understanding our customers business and enjoy working with different cultures. You are resilient, enjoying a high pace environment where you often make priorities based on what is best for our business. You are communicative and familiar with communicating to various stakeholders, both internally and externally.

As a person, we believe you are driven, structured, goal oriented and enjoy continuously delivering results.

You have a commercial or technical university degree. Experience in leadership is mandatory, and experience within the commercial area is meriting. You master English fluently and any additional language is meriting.
