The Powertrain Controls & Calibration department is responsible for the complete powertrain control system and delivers solutions for electrified drivelines globally for Lynk & Co, Volvo Cars and Geely. You will lead the "Hardware and Basic Software" team with excellent opportunities to influence technology choices for the future. We apply an agile framework way of working and are about to take the next step in this development.
We are looking for a person with proven leadership skills with ability to inspire, drive, motivate and coach team members. You possess a flexible mindset with ability to lead change and take decisions, and ability to be clear and concise in communication.
Responsibilities and tasks
* Employee lifecycle responsibility for direct reports including recruitment, performance and competence development. Provide coaching and guidance to employees to ensure deliveries and personal development
* Lead the development of new technologies within the electric hardware and basic SW area
* Develop way of working to secure quality and efficiency
* Build up, develop and long term secure the needed competence and capacity within the team
* Set and follow up targets for the team
Requirements
* Proven leadership skills
* M.Sc. degree, preferably in electrical engineering
* Extensive experience and competence in electrical hardware, basic software and electric architecture in automotive applications
* Good knowledge about trends and applicability of new technologies
* Experience from agile ways of working is a merit
