HemoCue, a Danaher company, is a global leader within the development, production and commercialization of point-of-care testing tests including hemoglobin, glucose, HbA1c and total and differential white blood cell count.
Leveraging 40 years of experience, HemoCue continuously aims to help healthcare professionals make clinical decisions during the patient visit. Our tests are used by healthcare professionals across the world in hospitals, physician offices, blood banks as well as in screening programs.
A comprehensive understanding for market movements and customer needs is a key imperative for the Global Product Marketing Team to drive effective strategic initiatives within upstream and downstream marketing. To set direction and lead this core marketing function, we are hiring for a Director Global Marketing.
We are looking for an energetic, innovative, analytical, and team-oriented Product Marketing Director who will lead a team of four experienced Global Product Managers that drive commercial product leadership initiatives and marketing NPD activities within the different groups.
In addition to daily management of the team, we are expecting that the new Director will drive and support the team in optimizing processes within Life Cycle Management Incl. Product Strategy, New Product Development and Launch Excellence.
The Director Global Product Management plays a vital role in leading the right marketing activities through the team but also takes as active player-coach including taking on own projects. The right person has an intense focus on delivering strong commercial results and winning with the team - both own team and with cooperation partners in global and local entities.
Your key responsibilities and tasks will include:
Leading and developing the Global Product Marketing team with focus on effective delivery to marketing priorities while acting as player-coach and ensuring high motivation
Overall responsibility for leading commercial marketing initiatives as well as marketing contribution to NPD projects
Overall responsibility for improving standard work and processes within Life-cycle management and launch excellence using tools from the Danaher Business System toolbox
Leading Global Product Marketing efforts for product- and corporate strategy incl. leveraging of customer-, competitor- and market insights
Leading continuous business analyses- & follow up efforts
Responsibility for ensuring effective value propositions for current and new product portfolio including VOC to get deep customer insights

What we need to see
We believe you are an experienced, team-oriented leader that shows initiative, has an analytical, systematic approach and is persistent in working towards defined goals. We expect that you have earned a Master's degree in business or a technical degree / healthcare education combined with commercial experience.
In addition to this we believe that you have:
4+ years of product marketing experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or related industry
3+ years of leadership experience for min 3 people
Experience with down-stream product marketing incl. leading commercial initiatives as well as up-stream / NPD marketing
Experience in working multidisciplinary and with multinational teams
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

Fluent in written and spoken English. Proficiency in an additional language a plus.
