Aurobay is looking for a Director for R&D Project and Quality. This is a fantastic opportunity in a new business, where you will work as a leader for the organization in R&D which is responsible to lead our Projects and to develop our Processes on our journey from being part of an OEM to become a Tier 1 Supplier, to create world-class powertrain solutions.

What will you do?
• Manage the Section of Aurobay R&D Project Leaders and Process development, currently 20 persons
• The Section consists of two formal teams, whereof you are direct manager for the Project Leaders and for the Process development team manager
• Current Projects are mainly Combustion Engine (ICE) projects for Volvo Cars as a customer
• New projects can be for ICE, but an expansion into the Electrification arena and to go beyond passenger car business for non-captive customers can be expected
• As we go from being part of an OEM to be a Tier 1 supplier, many of our development processes need to change accordingly and give us the opportunity of a fresh approach as a re-start
Do you fit the profile?
We believe that you have a M Sc or B Sc in Mechanical or Electrical/SW Engineering. We value experience from technical project lead of Automotive Powertrain programs in ICE and/or Electrification/Hybrid.
• Experience from leading Tier 1 supplier projects and forming technical project teams towards OEM customers is a big advantage
• Probably this is not the first managerial position in the applicant's career
• Leading through team members, delegating, and supporting with trust is our preferred leadership style
You like communication, and are a curious person with high integrity, loyalty, systematical and agile thinking. You are self - driven and structured individual who enjoys collaborating with colleagues. You have positive attitude and want to be a part of the journey to build Aurobay, we hope that you'll join our journey.
