Seco Operations - responsible for global production, supply chain and delivery processes - have identified five strategic focus areas of vital importance in defining our strategic direction and empowering our future success. Quality and sustainable business are two of these areas.

For us, quality is a prerequisite for a successful business, and our customers expect world class products and services. We are committed to give them not only that, but also a great customer experience. In a similar manner, a sustainable business - including safety, health and environmental impacts - becomes even more important. We believe a sustainable mindset is a competitive advantage for our customers, our current and future employees, our shareholders and the societies in which we operate.

We are now looking for a Director of Quality and Sustainable Business - someone who wants to accelerate strategy implementation and enhance the performance of these two areas by being a major driver forward. This is a great chance to contribute to our business success by making a genuine mark on our ways of working, while interacting in a global network.

Collaboration and cross-functional work between different functions and regions are critical success factors, along with a "best for Seco" attitude. As speed, customer experience and effectiveness are critical attributes in achieving our mission, you secure local ownership of processes and results and you follow up and provide support whenever needed. Actively living and breathing the Seco leadership and employee model is a natural part of your daily work, and you develop efficient global networks, structured ways of working and effective processes that truly makes a difference. You also lead and inspire a team of competent professionals.

You are an important representative of quality and sustainability in our Operations Management team, reporting to the VP of Global Operations.

Your character
We are looking for someone with a degree in Engineering or Business Administration and a solid professional background in quality or supply management positions. You are an experienced leader, preferably from a managerial role in a manufacturing industry, and we value your understanding of sustainability. As we act on a truly global stage, you have good communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.

With business in mind and a genuine service approach, you understand the challenges of your areas and you have an excellent ability to understand our customers' needs. As you are responsive and open-minded, yet confident in your way of working, you implement change and improvements and you deliver as promised. By being proactive and utilizing a great set of communication skills, you create trustworthy collaborations and build relationships with all levels of the organization.
