Job Description Summary
PayPal has an exciting opportunity for a Director & CFO for iZettle business unit based out of Sweden. This role will lead a team of finance professionals responsible for partnering with the business in the delivery of financial planning, forecasting, new businesses initiatives support, opex and HC management as well as day to day financial support. The individual would responsible for financial matters pertaining to iZettle and work closely with San Jose based team. The position will report to Sr. Director of Product Finance in San Jose.
Primary job responsibilities include:
Serve as a critical member of iZettle leadership team
Steering the iZettle business and partnering with the Business Unit to support the growth
Financial planning, budgeting/forecasting and reporting of revenue, opex and several financial and business KPIs for monthly, annual and long range strategic planning processes
Develop finance related presentations and other materials for ops reviews, monthly financial reviews, steering committees and other similar cadences
Manage several finance professionals and nurture the talent
Analyze the business cases and financial modelling for the business opportunities and make recommendations for business decisions
Enhance and optimize current planning & reporting and business analysis capabilities
Assist in further integration of iZettle into broader PayPal eco-system
Requirements:
10+ years of professional related experience preferably in Fintech or payments processing businesses
Strong business acumen, proactive, detail oriented, negotiation and influencing skills, team orientation, strong presentation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively relate financial issues and especially skilled at communicating with upper management on a range of broad business plans
Organizational savvy. Able to challenge the status quo respectfully, and act as a catalyst within the organization
A superior work ethic and dedication to the highest work quality and job excellence
Solid leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team
Proficiency with MS Office, SAP, Essbase and other similar analytical tools
Education:
Bachelors required; Master's degree preferred
