We are currently expanding to provide the capability to deliver an ambitious portfolio of vehicles across multiple segments. Your contribution may be our key to success! The following position is currently open for application:
Director Design Portfolio Management
As Director Design Portfolio Management you are responsible for the Global Design product and project portfolio content and management for all automotive brands within Zhejiang Geely Holding Group. You are a member of the Geely Global Design Management team with the responsibility to benchmark global product and design trends to support the Brand, Product and Design Strategies as well as execution of global design product and project plans.
Responsibilities and tasks
Responsible for:
- Global Design product and project portfolio content and management for all automotive brands within Zhejiang Geely Holding Group
- Benchmarking of global product and design trends, and applicability of new technologies
- Global Design product and project plan(s)
- Drive and facilitate resolution of portfolio related issues.
- Establish and act as stakeholder for the portfolio management processes and systems for Geely Design globally
- Owner of the Design Product Management Meeting forum and the scope thereof
Stakeholder and Global Design's product representative regarding:
- Brand, Product and PR Strategy and process
- Global Cycle Plans and Project Intake process
- Design Strategy development
- Product Offer and Vehicle Architecture definition and development
- Design clinics
- Motor shows and brand/product launches
- Geely Global Design in product and portfolio related forums
Support to and interface with:
- Advanced & Strategic Design
- Design Project/Program Management
- PPL, Marketing, PR, Engineering
Requirements
- Min. 10 years' experience from the automotive industry.
- Min. 5 years' experience from automotive Product Planning functions.
- Expertise in automotive product portfolio content and management.
- Experience in line- and project management.
- Benchmarking of product and design trends, and applicability of new technologies.
- Extensive understanding and knowledge of automotive product development and product design processes.
- Experience from working in an global environment/organization.
- Fully proficient in English both written and verbally.
- Asian and/or American trend and business experience.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
