We are proud product owners for components, systems as well as complete powertrains. We are accountable for the lifecycle management of our products, from advanced engineering, through product development into the maintenance phase. The majority of our powertrain components are traditional combustion engines, after treatment systems, transmissions and axles however the importance of e-mobility components is growing every day.
We stand in front of significant challenges - where reducing transport emitted CO2 emissions is one of the biggest - and are now adapting to take this on by simplifying and empowering our organization and way of working. As an integrated part of this we have high expectations to reduce development lead-time and cost and driving innovation and employee engagement through our leaders leading technology and people.
In this position you will be part of an organization dedicated to technology as well as empowering and developing our employees. We always use customer satisfaction as the ultimate performance measurement.
Responsibilities / Main tasks
The Strategic Development organization has the full responsibility to plan and secure execution of advanced engineering as well as to pilot main strategic technology plans within Powertrain Engineering. This includes creating new innovations to challenge our existing products and solutions in the ambition of exceeding our customers' expectations.
We are a global department of around 90 passionate engineers committed to improving our products for customers and society. We take on exciting challenges within a positive and constructive atmosphere where team cooperation, different perspectives and doing your best are highly valued.
As Director Concept Creation & Analysis, you will have the responsibility for leading the earliest phases in the creation and evaluation of new complete Engine and complete Powertrain concepts within both conventional as well as hybrid drivelines. You will lead a team consisting of 10-15 highly skilled and motivated employees with multidisciplinary competence areas and backgrounds.

You are holding minimum a Master degree in engineering
You have a proven leadership experience
You are well experienced in the automotive industry especially within the area of forefront technology development/research in the Powertrain domain
