Tetra Recart, the first restorable carton package designed for products traditionally filled in cans or glass jars, is in a strong growth phase.
Communications supporting the business agenda, building brand and supporting the sales process, is key to success.
You will develop and implement a strategy based on digital communications and support the business strategy on effective positioning, promotion and launch of the Tetra Recart portfolio toward all internal and external target groups, securing the strategy is fully in line with the overall Tetra Pak communications strategy and brand.
The Communications Director reports to the Corporate Director, Marketing Communications and Brand Management with a dotted line to Tetra Recart Vice President and Managing Director of Tetra Recart.
The position is based in Lund, Sweden and requires approximately 20% of travelling.
Main responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a global communications strategy for Tetra Recart, identifying target markets and defining strategic and targeted engagement plans that raise awareness, support sales and build thought leadership positioning.
• Leverage all channels with specific focus on the expansion of the use of digital channels and enhancing media relations.
• Work closely with market companies and cluster teams to create strong alignment among all stakeholders and supporting business development.
• Manage external communications partners to deliver world class results and interact with relevant internal communication functions.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this position you need to have great networking skills and an ability to work across borders. You need to have a strong personal drive and push yourself and others to meet deadlines.
You are good at building effective relationships with others and have the ability to adjust to the situation. You are also business minded and are able to use your analytical skills and contribute to anticipate future needs.
You have a university degree within Marketing or Communications combined with a minimum 5-10 years in a senior position in Communications and a proven track record of success in marketing communications within a global, B2B and/or B2C organisation. To be truly successful in this role we think you also have strong digital communication skills.
An excellent command of English, both written and oral is required.
