Job Summary
In this position, you, with a team of approx 8 direct reports, will be responsible for the financial performance and follow-up of our regional business. You will actively contribute to the development and achievements of the strategic goals and provide financial solutions to the region. Together with your team, you monitor and provide the relevant financial information that contributes to efficient decision-making process for the purpose of planning and control activities. The Director Business Control is a member of Finance & Commercial Management team.
• Lead and develop forecasts and closing process within the region
• Take the lead in the analysis and understanding of the Volvo CE business within Europe, Middle East and Africa and set a clear direction for the future
• Pro-active support for all the company's stake holders
• Financial reporting including discrepancy analysis for a multibillion business
• Govern and support the operation of Volvo owned dealers
• Drive change projects in the Business Control area; propose and implement improvement initiatives
• Coach and inspire the employees

Required knowledge and experience
• Master degree within Business Administration and/or comparable
• Experience from working as a senior financial controller
• Leadership skills
• Appropriate language skills, minimum fluent in English
• Holistic view
• Analytical ability
• Highly developed communication skills - written and oral
• Experience in working in an international environment
• Sense of urgency and ability to push forward with deliverables to timely completion
• Structured and process-oriented way of working with a strong drive to continuously challenge and improve
