The Team
The Nasdaq Internal Audit department has the global responsibility of covering all Nasdaq operations. You will be part of a team of 10 auditors working in the Stockholm and Vilnius offices, covering European and international operations.

Your Role and Responsibility
As a Director of Audit joining our team in Stockholm. You will be a part of the internal audit team which is located in Stockholm and Vilnius.
This role will be responsible for developing, planning, and implementing risk-based internal audit programs for the organization's accounting, business operations, related technology systems, and the activities of various departments to ensure compliance with the organization's policies, procedures, and standards. You will also ensure the efficiency of internal controls in compliance with corporate objectives and government standards, such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) or other regulatory-driven control frameworks.
Implements and at times own the execution and reporting on the quality and efficiency of controls across all risk crafting areas including, but not limited to operations, finance, regulatory, technology, M&A, exchanges, clearing, and CSD.
Leads and performs responsibilities on multiple concurrent projects, leading conflicting priorities to achieve results on time and remaining accountable when handling unintended impediments, and adjusting scope and resources as vital.
Provides an educative and consultative approach when counseling inquisitive control recommendations.

What We Expect
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, System Development, or a related subject area.
Minimum 5-7 years of relevant working experience.

What Would Be Advantageous
Professional auditing certifications and or financial and operational experience is a merit.
Analytical and structured.
Being able to work independently as well as in different team setups.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills in English.
