Aftermarket Technology is a group function with the mission to provide Volvo Group's brands with aftermarket solutions. Aftermarket Technology provides solutions directly to Volvo Trucks, Renault Trucks, Mack Trucks. It supports Volvo Bus Corporation, Volvo Construction Equipment, Volvo Penta. It also provides solutions to Partners and Joint Ventures. Aftermarket is the category that entails the job areas involved in how the Volvo Group manages the lifecycle of its offering (both hard and soft) by providing diagnostic, maintenance, repair, and spare parts for sold products, dealer support and assistance to secure customer satisfaction.
Aftermarket Technology provides such Uptime Services as: Maintainability, Diagnostics, Service & Parts, Prognostics Maintenance and Technical Support L2 and L3.
Volvo Aftermarket Technology has 5 sites located in Sweden, France, India, USA and Brazil. It employs over 370 employees and 185 consultants. Volvo Aftermarket Technology has revenues of 590 Mio SEK. Your organization is holding 160 engineers representing Aftermarket Technology in Göteborg.
What will you do?
Aftermarket Technology Göteborg is a core hub of delivering aftermarket solutions to Volvo Trucks with end-to-end responsibility but also for all technology platforms developed in Göteborg for all other sites and brands.
You will spend time developing the teams' efficiency and effectiveness to deliver on quality and time. You do this both for the site you oversee and for the global organization. In this part you also continuously increase the maintainability of the technologies developed in Gothenburg: electronic & software, electromobility, combustion engine. You drive the team to acquire knowledge about the technology and of our solutions. With this, you enhance our ability to influence the design of future transport solutions.
You foster an innovative culture where we attract and retain talents to develop future technologies for uptime services. You develop the competence and the ways of working to increase the speed of development of connected solutions, data-driven services, and predictive care for our customers.
You work in close cooperation with all other functions within Aftermarket Technology, Group Trucks Technology, Group Trucks Operation Service Market Logistics as well as Group Trucks Purchasing. As our representative in Göteborg, you are the main interface towards Volvo Trucks.

You will have responsibilities in budget, investments and driving the site management team. You are empowered and accountable for the project portfolio deliveries in Göteborg and will represent Aftermarket Technology in various governance forums.
As a member of the Aftermarket Technology global Leadership Team, you also have responsibilities to develop the global AMT towards set objectives.
You live the Volvo Group Values with high integrity and trust. Your negotiation, networking and perseverance skills will be key assets to interface with engineering, sales colleagues, Operations and Purchasing.
We also want you to have:
Master's degree in engineering or equivalent.
Several years' experience in leading leaders within product development or similar.
Experience from engineering and/or aftermarket business.
