We are now seeking a Diploma Director at Hyper Island in Stockholm. The post primarily entails responsibility for building up sales and logistics in support of Hyper Island?s diploma programme (for private fee-paying students) and developing processes for these.
Your role will mean working closely with the training and marketing departments and managing a salesperson (Diploma Manager). You will be responsible for ensuring that Hyper Island?s Swedish and international students have a smooth introduction and enjoyment of all their training at Hyper Island. Moreover, you will control and manage all activities within this business area in order to attain set budgetary goals. This is a new post which will afford you major leeway in determining how to shape the role as you progress. This also means that on a daily basis you will be carrying out tasks at different levels of expertise. You will be Stockholm based but there will be regular travel to Hyper Island in Karlskrona and our partners around the world. You will report to the MD.
Preferably, you are experienced in an entrepreneurial organisation and have several years? experience of project management with budgetary responsibility. You will have experience in some form of personnel management. As a person, you are highly structured and like things to be orderly but are aware that improvisational ability is also crucial to successful results. You are business-minded, goal-orientated and passionate about motivating others. You are solution-orientated and keen to make contacts and be outgoing. Your spoken and written English is excellent.
