About Group Risk


Group Risk ensures that risk management is conducted efficiently and in accordance with necessary Group-wide procedures.

A strong common risk culture within the bank serves as the foundation for efficient risk management, thereby providing protection against unwanted risk-taking whilst contributing to a strong risk-adjusted return.



In order to support Swedbank's 5 year wanted position Group Risk Analysis and Modelling (GRAM) is searching for a candidate with the skills and drive to coordinate and define various digitalization activities making sure that we are involved in relevant projects in an efficient and qualitative way and that our risk processes are aligned with the future business needs.

Previous roles relevant for this position, e.g.

You should have at least 10 years of relevant banking experience, with risk management, analytics and project management. You should have a relevant university degree and excellent people and communication skills. The working environment is complex, requiring the involvement with multiple stakeholders in the organization. Therefore your ability to learn new concepts fasts, structure and solve problems, understand the constantly changing business needs, and adapt to requirements is crucial.

Most importantly, you should have high integrity and an interest in the upcoming challenges of the digitalization area. You have the ability to handle multiple work streams in a flexible way as well as the capacity to meet deadlines and deliver with high standards.

You should have a strong track record and excellent skills in;

leveraging data science to deliver a world-class digital credit decision and monitoring solutions,
advanced machine learning techniques, and
usage of non-traditional data for fast and accurate credit decision models.
Further You shall excel in Microsoft Office ( Excel, Power Point, Word) as well as in e.g. SAS (or similar for analytical and modelling tasks). Strong oral and written communication skills are a must. Experience from prior digitalization and data science assignments within the banking sector are needed.
