What you will do
As the Digitalization Lead for the plant, you will be your responsibility to drive and support the organization toward the vision of Industry 4.0 and beyond, providing the foundation for world-class efficiency and zero defects.

You will be a member of the Engineering Management team which has the responsibility to ensure current and future operational efficiency, both in manufacturing and support functions. All based on data processing into clear usable information that gives us a competitive edge.

You will work closely with stakeholders within the company e.g., Project managers, Operations Management, IT, Divisional and Global IT & Engineering departments, and report directly to the Assisting General Manager.

Main areas and responsibilities:

• Lead, empower and point the way for the industry 4.0 journey

• Drive, coordinate and manage initiatives and projects

• Coach, mentor, and train to gain the most from implemented activities and structures

• Be the plant representative in global digitization initiatives

What you bring with you
We are looking for a person with a can-do attitude, positive mindset and proactive approach and the ability to adapt to challenges, combined with persistence when needed. You have broad technical understanding and are strong enough to lead your field of expertise on your own.

To be successful in this position, we believe that you have:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Experience in Change Management in a fast-paced organization

• Broad technical understanding e.g., IoT, Cyber Security, Lean and Automation

• Project Management skills with an ability to drive strategy and road-maps as well as day-to-day activities

• Fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written

• Strong proven specific technical competence including:
• Digital Literacy

• Data Analytics

• Visualization

Education
University degree within Engineering or equivalent education /work experience

Your first months at Magna:
