The Volvo Penta team is now looking for a Digital workplace product owner, who will build and drive how we would be able to leverage digitalization in our daily operations. We believe that improving our own digital efficiency and digital workplace will be of benefit to ourselves, to our business and will also lead to benefits to our customers and stakeholders.
In this role you will support and push us on our digital journey, showing ways forward and provide guidance on how to get there, identifying and leveraging modern digital workplace tools. Communication and training activities will be key elements of the change management needed in order for us to take further steps on this digital journey. You will work closely with all of us in the Digital & IT department, the rest of the Volvo Penta organization, and you will have great IT solution support from our Volvo Group Digital & IT community.
This is you
You are a driven and structured professional with a can-do attitude, confident with your knowledge of communication and change and a strong sense of curiosity in people as well as in digital technology. Your second nature is creating trust, building relations, and being inspirational.
Job responsibilities
Identify and drive activities for further improvements of our Digital Workplace. Examples in this area could be activities related to the use of Microsoft Office 365 or introducing new digital tools for enhancing our Activity based office
Contribute to training and communication material related to digitalization
Drive communication and training activities related to efficient and inspiring usage of digital tools in our workplace
Manage our internal training site for Digitalization topics, supported by Volvo Penta HR and Volvo Group University
Identify and follow-up on metrics for improved efficiency
Competence required
University degree in communication, IT or other relevant formal background
Experience from working with change management and communication
Experience from working in a project leader role, independently driving projects and agile initiatives, implementing digital solutions and tools
Profound knowledge and interest in modern digital tools, such as Office 365 and other digital platforms for communication and collaboration
Good business understanding
Strong networking and communication skills
General interest in IT & Digitalization
