We believe you have knowledge of the specific or similar tech stacks for the particular product or platform and proven training in computer science or any engineering equivalent. Experience as software or hardware engineer in the tech stack for the particular product or platform is preferred as well as experience in working in an Agile and DevOps working set-up. You will work in product teams focusing on enabling market leading Digital IKEA by providing modern Digital Platforms and Core Infrastructure to create competitive advantage. You have knowledge and experience within one or more of the areas listed below:· Kubernetes and container related technologies, both cloud and on-prem· Platform technologies like Google App Engine, Azure Web Apps· Toolsets such as nginx, MySQL, Consul, Kafka, Chef, Puppet, Varnish· Service mesh technologies like ISTIO· Cloud Security, Firewalling, load balancing and routing· Hardening frameworks· Key store (key-vault)· Automation orchestration and Machine learning like Ansible, Terraform, Tensorflow etc· Scripting in Phyton, Powershell etc· Compute platforms like edge technologies, hyperconverged Infrastructure, data domains etc· VR and AR technologies· Virtualisation technologies in infrastructure (Hypervisors) or Operating systems (containers)· Mobile connectivity like 4G/5G· SDWan and connectivity types like MPLS etc · RFID, Wifi and beacon technologies· Logging, monitoring and alerting like Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana, SPLUNK, Elastic Search, Kibana etc· Monitoring frameworks and Operational analytics on Enterprise scale· Working in agile/iterative DevOps teams, with an emphasis on self-organisation and delivery to agreed commitments· Design and architecture concepts (i.e. microservices) and ability to apply knowledge within the development cycle· Agile development practices, in which requirements and solutions evolve through the collaborative effort of self-organizing cross-functional teams· IKEAs corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people Besides being able to collaborate with others (incl. virtual) to achieve goals you have the ability to actively acquire new knowledge and skills and leverages new methods, digital systems and processes to improve performance and to develop high quality code using and applying good practices. ABOUT THE JOBIn the role as Digital Technology Engineer you will support high quality digital operations engineering practices combining low-level systems expertise with high-level distributed systems knowledge, monitoring expertise, and programming/automation skills to support the product delivery teams across the Group Digital. You will:· be in close collaboration with other areas and functions in INGKA, focusing on how to ensure the best experience for our colleagues· support maintaining, upgrading, optimising and ensuring maximum uptime of digital products · own the responsibility of securing value and run of the digital products you help build· participate in the implementation of new system and infrastructure projects· help ensure that systems monitoring setup is robust and properly structured· assist the various Platform Teams with tasks that require optimisation/modifications to the current infrastructure· help developing and maintaining the right toolsets required for running a specific system· apply and adhere to good practice digital operations engineering practices within an agile/iterative development approach· provide support and guidance as needed to other engineers within the development team encouraging good practices· work across initiatives within INGKA Group, helping to steer towards data-driven solutions
