The Digital Sustainable Design group (DSD) is a vibrant team made of both with both architects and engineers located in Stockholm's White office. Thanks to robust methods and an iterative process, we inform the design regarding daylight access, energy optimization, outdoor and indoor thermal comfort, and material choice thanks to different types of simulations. We are involved in all design stages, and work with different certification systems such as LEED, BREEAM and Miljöbyggnad. As we are in the forefront of the sustainable design competence, we are constantly involved in research and development projects where we bring together architecture, sustainability, and digitalization.
If you are/have:
Passionate about sustainability, design and digital tools
4-6 years professional experience
A degree in engineering, architecture or sustainability
Fluent in English
Advanced knowledge regarding daylight and energy in buildings, and know how to apply it through simulations (For example IESVE, IDA ICE, Design Builder, Diva in Rhinoceros, Honeybee, Ladybug, etc.)
Experience working in the UK as an engineer
Even better if you also are/have:
Knowledge in Computational Fluid Dynamics simulations, natural ventilation, passive cooling, life-cycle analysis, and outdoor thermal comfort.
Familiar with CAD/BIM programs (such as Revit, Sketchup, Rhinoceros, Autocad, Solibri, etc.)
Familiar with Adobe Creative suite
CIBSE low carbon energy assessor/engineering chartership
International experience
Once you are here, you will:
Be part of a team that strive to empower architectural and urban design and contribute to more sustainable buildings, urban spaces and society
Be involved in performing energy, daylight and wind simulations
Perform iterative studies, inform the design and influence decisions in order to improve the project's sustainable profile
Brainstorm ideas, and participate in research projects.
